Warranty Terms

FF GROUP electric tools have been manufactured according to strict quality standards set by the company and are consistent with European quality requirements.

 

Power tools are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase for industrial and professional use and 24 months for amateur use, while batteries are guaranteed for 12 months. The warranty period is activated by issuing proof of purchase (invoice or retail receipt) of the tool and/or batteries.

This temporary warranty covers the cost of repair and the free replacement of defective parts of the tool that are exclusively related to the case of a manufacturing error or material failure. The spare parts or tools that are replaced remain in our possession.

The warranty excludes:

  • All accessories and spare parts, consumables (eg charcoal, cable, switches, chargers).
  • Damages resulting from the normal wear and use of the tool.
  • Tools that have been opened or repaired by unauthorized persons.
  • Rental Tools
  • Damage to the tool, due to failure to follow the operating instructions, improper use of the tool, abnormal environmental conditions, operating conditions foreign to the tool, overloading or insufficient maintenance or care of the tool
  • Tools that have undergone modifications and changes.
  • Any minor deviations from the specifications, which are not essential in terms of the use of the tool.
  • Tools that have been damaged by non-compliance with the manufacturer’s instructions such as improper use or the use of non-authentic parts and replacement parts.
  • Tools with insufficient maintenance or care.
  • Use of unsuitable lubricants during long-term storage.
  • Tools provided free of charge.

GUARANTEE PERFORMANCE PROCEDURE

 

The warranty can only be obtained within the above-mentioned time period by presenting the corresponding purchase document, which will include the code of the tool or its description and the date of purchase. The tools are sent for repair to the company or to an authorized workshop in the appropriate way and means of transport. Otherwise, the cost of transporting and insuring the tools is borne by the sender.

With the performance of the warranty, the warranty period is not extended or renewed. Claims other than those stated in this Power Tool Damage Repair Warranty Form do not apply. Greek law applies to this guarantee.

FLEX power tools are manufactured to strict quality and safety standards.

Power tools are guaranteed for 3 years from the date of purchase and batteries for one year. The warranty period is activated by issuing proof of purchase (invoice or retail receipt) of the tool and/or batteries. No further registration action is required from the buyer. This temporary warranty covers the cost of repair and the free replacement of defective parts of the tool that are exclusively related to the case of a manufacturing error or material failure. The spare parts or tools that are replaced remain in our possession.

All INGCO and GeHOCK power tools are thoroughly tested and undergo strict quality controls. The buyer’s warranty claims for any defects arising from the purchase contract with the seller as well as statutory rights are not limited by this warranty.

Warranty terms.

For the above tools, we provide the warranty based on the following commitments: The warranty is provided free of charge for the repair of damage to the tool, which occurs within the warranty period and is demonstrably due to material failure or manufacturing error. The validity period of the guarantee is 24 months. The validity of the guarantee begins with the purchase of the tool where the date on the original invoice or on the purchase receipt is of decisive importance.

The warranty excludes:

  • Consumables as well as damages resulting from normal wear and use such as: carbons, drill chucks, bearings, cables, seals.
  • Rechargeable batteries and chargers have a 6-month warranty.
  • Damage to the tools due to failure to follow the instructions, improper use of the tool, abnormal environmental conditions, operating conditions foreign to the tool, overloading or care of the tool.
  • Damage to the tool due to the use of non-original parts and spare parts.
  • When changes and interventions have been made to the tools.
  • The repair of a tool failure covered by the terms of the warranty is handled at our discretion as follows: either the defective part is repaired free of charge or it is replaced with another new tool.
  • In case of replacement, the returned tool must be accompanied by all its accessories.
  • The parts or tools that are replaced remain in our possession

To accept the guarantee, you must present the invoice or proof of purchase with the date and name of the product. Tools that have been opened by the customer lose the warranty. If the buyer sends the tool to the seller or the service department, then the cost and risk of transportation are borne by the buyer.

Other requirements than those listed in this power tool repair warranty form do not apply.

 

After a warranty processing the warranty time for the tool is not extended or renewed. The warranty for the repair part has a duration of 6 months.

Having registered your tool in our database means that in case your tool suffers any damage within 3 years, STANLEY guarantees you the complete repair of the tool or even its complete replacement if this is deemed necessary by the company itself without absolutely no financial burden.

purchased within the Greek territory applies: Warranty period of 12 months from the date of purchase for industrial and professional use and 24 months for amateur use. Within this

period, Makita covers the cost of repair and the free replacement of defective parts of the tool in the event of a manufacturing fault or material failure.

The warranty excludes:

  • Tools that do not carry CE.
  • All accessories and spare parts (e.g. charcoal, cable, switches, etc.).
  • Batteries and chargers.
  • Tools that have been opened or repaired by persons not authorized by Makita Hellas SA.
  • Tools used for hire.
  • Tools that have undergone modifications and changes
  • Tools damaged by non-compliance with the manufacturer’s instructions such as non-

proper use or use of non-genuine Makita parts and replacement parts.

  • Tools with insufficient maintenance or care.
  • Damage to the tool resulting from normal wear and use.
  • Use of unsuitable lubricants during the long-term storage period.

WARRANTY EXTENDED TERMS FOR GREECE

Makita offers, in addition to the normal statutory warranty right, an additional warranty between the customer and the manufacturer.

EXTENSION OF WARRANTY TO 3 YEARS

Makita Greece S.A., from June 1, 2013 offers the optional extension of the warranty to 3 years for all tools purchased from the official Makita network in Greece, including

in the relevant list posted on the website www.makita.gr and mentioned in the declaration application. The warranty extension is activated if the buyer registers and declares his product

within 4 weeks from the date of purchase on the website www.makita.gr Batteries and chargers as well as accompanying accessories are not included in this extension warranty. To confirm the registration, the buyer receives a warranty certificate, which he must immediately print and save. The registration is only valid if the buyer agrees with the storage and processing of his personal data that he declares during the registration process. The warranty extension applies to purchases made by the official

Makita network in Greece and is only recognized by those who live permanently in Greece.

Excluded from this warranty are:

  • All exclusions that already apply to the warranty (see above).
  • All Maktec tools.
  • All farm and garden tools.
  • All tools offered free of charge (eg as a promotional gift, to

competitions etc.).

DOCUMENTS FOR APPROVAL OF WARRANTY

The return of the guarantee must be made within the guarantee period. For the repair of a defect which is covered by the warranty terms, the buyer should contact us at

e-mail: info@makita.gr or with the representative and to present the original invoice or proof of purchase (where the code of the tool and the date of purchase should be written) as well as the

warranty certificate of his tool from the website of Makita Greece.

After the warranty is rendered, the warranty period of the tool is not renewed either

lengthens. Greek Law applies to this guarantee. Other requirements, other than those stated in this repair warranty form of

damage to power tools, do not apply.

 

Black & Decker is confident in the quality of its products and offers a substantial warranty for professional users of the product. This warranty statement is in addition to, and in no way replaces, your contractual rights. The guarantee is valid within the territories of the member states of the European Union and the European Free Trade Area.

If a Black & Decker product fails due to defective materials or workmanship within 24 months of the date of purchase, Black & Decker warrants to replace all defective parts, repair products, and reasonable wear and tear due to of use, to ensure the least inconvenience to the customer. Unless:

  • The product has been damaged by foreign objects, substances or accidents.
  • The product has been misused or neglected.
  • The product has been damaged by foreign objects, substances or accidents.
  • Repairs have been made by unauthorized service or Black & Decker personnel.

In order to make a warranty claim, you must present proof of purchase to the dealer or authorized service center and your product must be CE marked as shown below.

BLACK + DECKER has specified the manufacture and sale of the following products as a “license”, under the specified warranty policy, with the same terms and conditions as apply to the BLACK + DECKER POWER TOOLS two (2) year warranty, but for the stated duration of each license.

XXL Warranty – Metabo’s 3-year warranty

Our power tools have a particularly long life cycle. And because they rarely need to be repaired, Metabo offers you an additional guarantee – the XXL guarantee. Once you register your tools, the standard warranty is extended by 3 years. You must have the proof of purchase together with the XXL warranty certificate, which you can obtain after registering your machines.

Registration must be made within the first 4 weeks of purchase.

In this category belong the electronic pressure controllers, Inverter, electrowelding, chargers, power bank, avr of the vehicles, thermostats and in general electronic boards inside the machines.

Notes on Warranties-Batteries:

Battery life depends on proper charge maintenance and other factors such as temperature, humidity, storage and have specific charge cycles. Determining the conditions is not possible in the laboratory. For these reasons, the warranty period of the batteries is set at 6 months
